xHLDS documentation
What xHLDS is, and every setting, command, launch option and console code it adds.
- xHLDS version
- 3.15.0-hs.9
- Updated
xHLDS is Hostsrc's fork of ReHLDS (external site, opens in a new tab), the reverse-engineered Half-Life dedicated server engine that Counter-Strike 1.6 servers run on. It keeps what ReHLDS servers rely on:
- the plugin API (ReHLDS API 3.15), so ReAPI, ReGameDLL and Metamod modules built for ReHLDS 3.15 work as before;
- the binary names
engine_i486.soandhlds_linux, and theReHLDS version:line that panels and scripts read; - ReHLDS's own cvars, commands and launch options (ReHLDS settings);
-pingboost 1to3behave as in ReHLDS, so your start command stays the same.
The server's version command prints xHLDS version: above the ReHLDS version: line. Release builds are for Linux.
In these docs
- Settings: every setting xHLDS adds, in plain words, with its default and when to change it.
- Commands and launch options xHLDS adds.
- Console codes: what each
[XH-...]line on the server console means, whether it is a problem, and what to do.
Licences, prices and what xHLDS adds: xHLDS licence and prices.
